The special meeting was called to order by Mayor Supple at 9:04 a.m.
Council Present: Mary Supple, Mayor; Sharon Christensen; and Rori Coleman-Woods
Council Excused: Walter Burk; and Sean Hayford Oleary
Staff Present: Katie Rodriguez, City Manager; and Michelle Friedrich, City Clerk.
2.Pledge of Allegiance
Mayor Supple led the Pledge of Allegiance.
3.Approval of the Agenda
MOTION: made by Mayor Supple, seconded by Council Member Coleman-Woods to approve the agenda as
presented.
Voting aye: Mayor Supple, Council Member Christensen, and Council Member Coleman-Woods.
Motion carried: 3:0
4.Consent Calendar
City Manager Rodriguez presented the consent calendar.
a.Consider the adoption of a resolution determining the results of the City Primary Election for the
Council Member At Large seat held on Tuesday, August 11, 2026.
RESOLUTION 12444DETERMINING RESULTS OF THE PRIMARY ELECTION OF THE CITY OF RICHFIELD HELD ONTUESDAY, AUGUST 11, 2026.
MOTION: made by Council Member Coleman-Woods, seconded by Council Member Christensen to adopt
the Consent Calendar item as presented and approve the resolution determining the results of the Primary
Election held on August 11, 2026.
Voting aye: Mayor Supple, Council Member Christensen, and Council Member Coleman-Woods.
Motion carried: 3:0
City Clerk Friedrich reported that the August 11, 2026, Primary Election included three candidates: Sharon
Christensen, Emily M. Antin, and Aaron McKain. The two candidates receiving the most votes, Sharon
Christensen and Emily M. Antin, will advance to the General Election on November 3, 2026.
5.Adjournment
MOTION : made by Council Member Christensen, seconded by Council Member Coleman-Woods to adjourn
the meeting at 9:09 a.m.
