RESOLUTION NO. 9608
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF ALL GRANTS AND DONATIONS
RECEIVED BY THE CITY OF RICHFIELD AND TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY TO
ADMINISTER THE FUNDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH GRANT AGREEMENTS AND
TERMS PRESCRIBED BY DONORS
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 465.03 reads in part as follows:
Any city, county, school district or town may accept a grant or devise of
real or personal property and maintain such property for the benefit of its citizens
in accordance with the terms prescribed by the donor. Nothing herein shall
authorize such acceptance or use for religious or sectarian purposes. Every
acceptance shall be by resolution of the council adopted by two-thirds majority of
its members, expressing such terms in full, and
WHEREAS, the City of Richfield has received grants and donations as described
below:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Richfield, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the City Council of the City of Richfield hereby accepts all grants and
donations as listed above for the year 2005 and authorizes the City to administer the
funds in accordance with grant agreements and terms prescribed by donors.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota this 26th day of
April, 2005. \
