WHEREAS, the City has adopted the above referenced amendment of the
Richfield City Code; and
WHEREAS, the verbatim text of the amendment is cumbersome, and the
expense of publication of the complete text is not justified.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Richfield that the following summary is hereby approved for official publication:

REGULATIONS
This summary of the ordinance is published pursuant to Section 3.12 of the
Richfield City Charter.
This ordinance makes the following changes to the City Code: bay windows
shall be allowed to encroach into setbacks, fences place within three feet of a wall or
berm shall be measured together in height calculations, massage therapy may be
practiced as a home business by those licensed in accordance with ordinance
provisions, businesses in the Neighborhood Business (C -1) District are permitted to be
up to 4,000 square feet, commercial setbacks when adjacent to Two - Family Residential
(MR -1) properties have been increased, medical clinics shall be permitted in the
General Commercial (C -2) District without a conditional use permit, sign permits shall
expire one year after issuance, one temporary signs per tenant allowed in multi- tenant
buildings, and a maximum of four temporary sign permits per business per year.
Additional language corrections, redundancies and reference additions have been
made.
Copies of the ordinance are available for public inspection in the City Clerk's
office during normal business hours or upon request by calling the Department of
Community Development at (612) 861 -9760.
