City Planning Updates and Dinner (6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.)

Glen Markegard, Bloomington Planning Manager
Melissa Poehlman, Richfield City Planner
Updates will include:
A brief overview of current and/or anticipated development projects
City responses to State variance law changes
Small group discussions (7:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.)
Commissioners will be seated to facilitate small group discussion. Possible topics for
discussion include:
Commission interaction with City Council
Design guidelines/architectural requirements – implementation in current
economy
Any other topics of particular interest to the group
Small group reporting
Groups will have the chance to report on their discussions and bring forward key issues that
may be of interest to the whole group.
