September 26, 2005
Jeff McMenimen, Hoisington Koegler Group, Inc., reviewed three option concepts:
. Option 1 is as consistent as possible with the current Comp Plan
. Option 2 emphasizes residential area
. Option 3 is more of a mix of uses
All options retain the church and cemetery in their current location. The schematic long-term
concept options are to be used to define the future direction of the City and as a land use vision, not
as a redevelopment plan. The market will dictate development. A marketing study indicates the area
as desirable for high-density residential, including strengthened pedestrian-friendly aspects.
The meeting was adjourned by unanimous consent at 6:57 p.m.
Date Approved: October 11, 2005
