The meeting was called to order by Mayor Kirsch at 6:35 p.m.

Present: Thomas Harms, Chair; Martin Kirsch; Sue Sandahl; and Joan Heimberger.

Not Present: Kristal Stokes.
Planning Commission
Members Present: Gordon Hanson; Kim Houle; Maureen Scaglia; Donna Drummond; and Kyle
Hartnett.
Planning Commission
Members Not Present: Jeffrey Walz; David Schneider; Greg Van Sickle; and Jeffrey Karr.
Staff Present:
Bruce Palmborg, Community Development Director; Patrick Smith,
Community Development Manager; Christine Costello, Community
Development Coordinator; and Cheryl Krumholz, Recording Secretary.

Community Development Manager Smith explained tonight's concurrent meeting is one in a
series of four regarding the 1-494 Corridor Planning Study. He introduced Mark Koegler from
Hoisington Koegler Group Inc., the consulting planner, landscaper architect and designer firm hired to
assist on this study.

. Review of the work program/communication plan/schedule
. Project area discussion with comments provided by the City Council, HRA and Planning
Commission
Community Development Manager Smith explained the next steps and encouraged residents
and business owners to attend the upcoming open houses.
The meeting was adjourned by unanimous consent at 7:34 p.m.
