October 14, 1958 in the Council Chambers of the Village-Hall at
7100 p.m.
Members present were: Coombs, Erspamer, and Grund it z.
Absent: Henshaw, Woerner.
Ex-Officio Members present were: Rumpel and Serstock
Absent: Gasterland and Van Krevelen.
Mr. Coombs conducted the meeting in the absence of the Chairman
and Vice-Chairman. The minutes of the last meeting were approved
as corrected.
1. Library ReEort filed.
Motion by Erspamer, seconded by Grunditz that the Library report
be made a part of the file of plans for extension. of the Village
Hall. Carried.
2. Junior Colle es.
The Junior College subject was discussed briefly, and it was
announced that Dr. Robert Keller, Consultant to the Interim Commission
for Higher Education, would speak in ~tichfield on November 18th under
auspices of the Citizen's League. Motion by Erspamer, seconded by
Grunditz, to defer further discussion of a Junior College for Rich-
field until after the meeting with Dr. Keller. Carried.
3. Plans for Village Hall Expansion.
Mr. Charles [dahlberg, architect of the firm of Bergstedt and Hirsch,
which had been employed by the Village in March, 195?, to work out
plans for adding to the Village Hall, presented five different plans
which had been considered.

Motion by Erspame r, seconded by Grunditz, that any formal action
on these plans be deferred until the next meeting. Carried,
Motion by Erspamer, seconded by Grunditz, that the Village Council
lie ~dq~lested to .review this report and give their opiniorns and reactions
bo the Planning Commission at the next regular meeting before a reso
lution is passed. Carried.
Motion by Grunditz, seconded by Erspame r, to adjourn at 9:00 p.m.
Carried.
