I. School Bids. Priority No. ,G
Mr. Robert Gunderson, Ghairman of the School Board, had telephoned that bids
were being taken that evening on the new eienoantary school, It was decided that businest~
of the evening would be handled rapidly so members could adjourn to tie School.l~aard
meting.
2. Opinion - Claz-ton LeFevere
The opinion of the Village Attorney regarding distribution of information to
the village residents by the Planning Commission was read a~ discussed. It was the con-
sensus that before the Planning Commission would publish arty information or opinion, it
would notify 'first both the Council and the School Board. -

It was decided that zoning problems would be discussed within the Planning
Commission with ±,he idea that some help might be given the Council i.n the area of coning,
!~. Bonded Indebtedness
Members were given a chart showing combined Richfield and School District ~2g0
Bonded Indebtedness as of July, I958.
5. Status of Recomteer~a~~,in Re~o• I
The Planning Commission asked far' a report Pram both the Village and the School
District as to what has been accoz~I.ished recently and as to what future project requests
each body had.

6. Exr~ansidn of Village ,~~all Fa~§lities
-There was further discussion of Police and Fire Department facilities. The
Commission would be getting the pre$ent suggestions of the Council about meeting the need
for increased space and would study these as we3.7. as former suggested plans.
7. Water
More information would also be secured about water needs for Richfield.
8. Imtarovem~nt of Thoroughfares
Before scheduling a tour of the main thoroughfares of the. village: the Com-
mission would wait to get a report on what plans already were being made for impravi~,.
these approaches to Richfield
9. Files
The Secretary was asked to check with former members about releasing their
files to the new members.
I0. Items Tabled for Future Consideration
The Richfield Juniar Chamber of Commerce Survey and a report on the Richfield
Public Library would be discussed at the next meeting.
