The Long Mange Capital Improvements Planning Commission met
August 15, 1957, ~u the Council Chambers of-°the Village Hall at 7:00 P,M.
Members Present were: Gasterland, Grunditz~ Renshaw and
Woerner
Absents Arundel
Ex-Off iei4 Members Present were, Van Krevelen, Serstock and
_ Gunderson
Absent: Rumpel
Mr. ~a.rlton Lytle represented the school administration in
place of Mr. harry Rumpel!

Motion by Grunditz, seconded by Woerner, that the minutes of
the July 11, i9~7, regular meeting be approved, Carried,
2. Proiect Request Priorities.

Mr. Robert Gunderson presented a summa*^y of priorities given
proposed capital improvements by the school representatives. (A copy was
handed out to each member}. Mr. Lorin Gasterland gave the Planning
Commission ideas. about the priorities and their questions about the
Recreation requests and some of the Village requests.
Mr. Oliver. Vs,n Krevelen stated that the Village representatives
had given priorities to the reque~ forms under four categories: (1} Parks
and playgrounds, (2) itublic E~lorks Department, (3) Buildings and (4)
School District.#12.
Mr. Leo Jolly was present to a~.swer questions about the Village
project requests.
3: Financing, Capital Improvements
Mr. T, G. Evensen and Mr. Arthur Hausker talked to members about
municipal financing.
Mr. Patrick McInnis was asked to work with Mr. Arthur Hausker
of Evensen and Associates in the preparation of a graph showing present
Village and School debt and what effect future capital improvements
would have on this debt .
4. Special Meeting
Tuesday, August 20, 1957, was set for special meeting of the
Off icial Commission Members. Mr. Leo Jolly and Mr. hurt Storm would
be asked to be present.
5. Adjournment
Motion by Renshaw, seconded by Woerner to adjourn at 9:10 F.M.
Carried.
