The Long Range Capital Improvements Planning Commission met
July 11, 195?, in the Council Chambers of the Village Hall at ?:00 P.kF.
Members Aresent were: Gasterland, Arundel and Grunditz
Absent: Woerner and Renshaw
Ex-Officio members present were: Van Krevelen and Gunderson
Absent: Rumpel and Serstock
1. Minutes
There were no official minutes from the month of Juae.
2. Letter of J. Walter Malmquist-

The letter of J. Walter Malmquist in which he offered his ser-
vices to some civic group in the Village of .Richfield-was }resented by
Mr. Van Krevelen.
Members of the Long Range Capital Improvements Planning Commis-
sion felt they were not prepared at this time to decide how the services
of Mr. Malmquist could be utilized.
Motion by Arundel, seconded by Grunditz~ to file the letter
of J. Walter Malmquist. Carried.
3. Priority of Project Requests:

Zt was suggested that each group within the Planning Commission,
i,e., the Council Representative, School Representatives and the Commis.
~siou Members proper meet separately before the--next regular meeting and
give priority to the project requests. Then the whole group would dis.
cuss these priorities and evolve a f final report.
4. Project Request Forms
..
The Commission asked that all project requests be in their
hands before their group meeting August 14, 195?.
Messrs. Van Krevelen, Gundersan and McInnis were excused at

5. Project Requests 1-25 Inclusive
The project request forms were reviewed once more. Questions
concerning each specific request were lis ted; these questions to be
directed to the person preparing the request form.
6. Next Regular Meeting
Motion by Arundel, seconded by Gruaditz, that August 15th; (the
th ird Thursday) be set as the next regular meeting date instead of August
8, 195?, (the second Thursday) if this was satisfactory with all members
of the Commi ss io n
?. Special Commission Meeting
Wednesday, August 14, 1957, was set for the special group meet-
ing of the off is ial commis Sion members to discuss priorities for the
total project requests.
8. It was decided that Mr. T. G. Evensen should be invited to the
August 15, 195?, meeting to give his opinion on the financial plausibility
of the project requests.
9. It was also felt that Mr. Leo 3olly~~s help in understanding some of
his project requests would be welcomed at the August 15, 195?, meeting.
