Members present were: Gasterland, Grunditz, Woerner and
Renshaw
Absent: Arundel

Absent: Van Krevelen and Serstock
1. Minutes
Motion by Renshaw, seconded by Woerner that the minutes be
approved as presented for the March 14, 195?, regular meeting. Carried.
2. Tour of School District 12 Physical Plants
The tour of the schools was discussed and all members felt
it had been very worth while and that appreciation should be expressed
to the school administration and board in the minutes.
3. Mr. McTnnis, Administrative Intern, stated that his report on the
current cost estimates for establishing a county of "Rural Hennepin"
was about half finished and would be ready for the May meeting.
4; Southdale Long-Rance Development -~
Motion by Grunditz, seconded by Woerner that other members
of the School Eoard and Village Council and any other interested
~.ndividuals should be invited to attend the May 9th meeting of the
Long Range Capital Improvements Planning Commission to hear the dis-
cussion on Southdale Long-Range Development, if agreeable with the
speakers. Carried.

Mr. Rumpel led a discussion oa future school needs in Rich-
#'ield, as presented to the Commission on the Project Request forms.

G. Mr. Rumpel and Mr. Gunderson were excused at 8:15~F~.M,
?. Project Request Forms
The Project Request forms from Mr. Jolly, the Vi3~.age ~ngin~nr,
were reviewed. All the forms from both the Superintead~nt of Schools`
and the Village Engineer will be given further consideration and study
before any action is taken by the Commission.
8. The question of where the Commission was going was brought up and
it was felt by members that so far we had been receiving only one
opinion on the project requests. and that we should receive both pros
and cons .
Motion by ~ioerner, seconded by Renshaw that before -any q~-
f icial recommendations -are made by the Commission that they invites pro
and con opinions-from representatives of interested groups. Carried.
9. Metxc~~ol~taa Airport Commission
Material .from the Citizens Air Safety League was handed to
Renshaw by Gasterland.
The Administrative Interns wePe asked to get information re-
garding the payment of funds to School D~.~xrict 12 by the M~etret~q~}tan
Airport Commission. '
