Motion by Henshaw, seconded by Grunditz, that the minutes be

3. WQOd Lake
' Curtis Olsen presented a report on Wood Lake. LTC 104
The Administrative Interns were requested to continue their survey on
the possibilities of developing 'rood Lake for a recreational area.
4. Metropolitan Planning Commission
A report on ,the eurren~t status of the Metropolitan Flanning
Commission Bill in the State Legislature (t'assed;by the. Senate) was
given.. No further action was considered by the Long Mange Planning
Commission at this late date due to the favorab~.e .approval already
given the Eill by the Village of Richfield Council,.

The tldmini~tirative Interns were bequestec! to investigate and
produce, if feasib3e, the current figures for the 1949 report of the
riennepin County I:eague of Towns and Municipalities. This report gave
many of the pertinent statistics and a summary of theme on the costs
and requirements cif establishing a county of r't~ural Nennepin~~.

The Administrative Intents wef~e asked to eRtend an invitation
to N:r. Robert Crabb, Vice-President of 5outhdale Realty Company, re-
questing an oral report on their plans for long-range development in
the Southdale area.

Motion by iienshaw, seconded by Grunditz, that the Administrative
Interns prepare a report which wou ld indicate the present and future
equity which the home-owners hold in-the Village of Richfield. Carrie d

The Administrative Interns were asked to prepare and deliver
in advance an agenda for the April 11, 195?, meeting of the Long atange
