CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Kirsch at 6:00 p.m.
ROLL CALL
Members Present:Martin Kirsch, Mayor; Susan Rosenberg; Kristal Stokes (arrived at
6:02); Sue Sandahl; and Russ Susag.
Staff Present:Steven Devich, Acting City Manager; and Deborah Guiher, Deputy City
Clerk.
Item #1CONSIDERATION OF RESOLUTION DETERMINING RESULTS OF
ELECTION RECOUNT FOR COUNCIL MEMBER WARD TWO, PRECINCTS
2, 6 AND 7, HELD ON NOVEMBER 29, 2000 S.R. NO. 306
Acting City Manager Devich reviewed Staff Report No. 306 regarding a resolution
determining results of an election recount for Council Member Ward Two, Precincts 2, 6 and
7 that was held on November 29, 2000.
Mr. Devich stated that the City has a good voting system. It was very apparent during
the recount. He also stated that the election judges did an excellent job.
Larry Wozniczka, 6744 Wentworth Avenue, candidate for Council Member Ward Two,
conceded the election to Gertrude Ulrich. He stated that City staff was well organized and
did a thorough job.

the resolution book and that it be made part of these minutes:

FOR WARD 2 COUNCIL MEMBER OF THE CITY OF RICHFIELD
CONDUCTED ON NOVEMBER 29, 2000
Motion carried 5-0. This resolution appears as Resolution No. 8964 in Resolution
Book No. 71.
Mayor Kirsch thanked staff and the election judges for a job well done.

The meeting was adjourned by unanimous consent at 6:10 p.m.
