Call to Order
The joint meeting was called to order by Mayor Kirsch. CSC Chair Vizecky provided the annual report.

The CSC meeting was called to order by Vizecky at 6:42 pm.
Approval of Minutes
Berend moved, seconded by Ness, to approve the minutes of the regular June meeting. Approved, ayes all.
Staff Reports
Recreation Services
Topitzhofer reported on the following:
• Fourth of July Celebration: Good attendance at all of the events, some problem with private fireworks in the parks. CSC
members made some suggestions about enforcing laws prohibiting fireworks in the parks.
• Outdoor Pool: The pool’s leak has been patched and business has been good.
• Playground Program and Free Lunch Program: Going smoothly, good attendance.
• Jefferson Park: Neighbors raised good issues and felt strongly about not converting the softball field to a soccer half-field,
so the ag-lime was returned to the infield of the softball field.
Committee Reports
Ballfield Improvement Task Force
Topitzhofer reported that the group is considering mixed usage at Lincoln Field. Rick Jabs assembled a mock schedule to the
group and the mixed-use scenario appears to be feasible. Topitzhofer said that a request for state bonding funding has been
submitted for work at Lincoln.
City Hall Task Force
Ness provided the report.
Transportation Committee
Kritzman said that the areas near 66th St & Portland Ave and 66th St & 17th Ave were discussed.
Family Friendly City Task Force
Vizecky provided the report.
FOWL
Kritzman provided the report.
Planning Commission
Peloquin and Hartnett provided the PC report.
RCHSPC
No report was given.
Meeting Cancellation
Peloquin moved, seconded by Ness, to cancel the August meeting. Approved, ayes all.

Hamernick moved, seconded by Ness, to adjourn the meeting. Meeting adjourned at 7:30 pm.
