Along with members of the Community Services Commission and Planning Commission, the following people were in attendance.

The Special meeting was called to order by Vice Chairperson Linnihan at 7:05 p.m.

ITEM #1 CIP/CIB Joint meeting with Community Services

Administrative Services Director, Steve Devich, gave a presentation on the 2000 Capital Improvement Budget and the 2001-2005 Capital Improvements Program. Mr. Devich updated the Commissions
on the projects included in the Capital Improvement Budget and program such as ballfield replacement, the community garden, the pool and the golf course. Also included are improvements
to public facilities such as the city maintenance facility and the public safety radio.
Mr. Devich then took questions from the Commissioners regarding the Capital Improvement Budget and explained that the Capital Improvement Plan is more of a wish list of projects to
be completed and the Budget will specify a dollar amount for each project.
Public Works Director, Mike Eastling gave a presentation on the future transportation projects for the city which included airport mitigation, 494/35W improvements, a sound wall along
Hwy. 62, and the 77th Street underpass.
The Special meeting was adjourned by unanimous consent at 8:15 p.m.
