Meeting called to order at 6:59 PM
Agenda approved: SE motioned, SJ seconded, all in favor
March meeting minutes approved: AB motioned, SE seconded, all in favor
Motion to spend up to $100 to order more RAC tshirts: AB motioned, SJ seconded, all in favor
Motion to spend up to $75 on art supplies – paint and marbles AB, LS, all
Dual Language School Carnival! May 17 | 6-8 pm | Outdoors (Inside - rain)
Motioned to spend up to $75 on supplies for marble project (marbles and paint): SJ motioned, LS seconded, all in favor
High School Seniors’ Art Show | Tuesday, May 7 from 5-7 PM
Hosted at the Community Center, will serve beverages and treats
Updating/Innovating Art Walk Brochure
Everybody was able to access the Google Sheet to sign up for which items they will visit, verify, and photograph
Goal is to get all items completed by May RAC meeting
Summer 2024 Farmer’s Market
June 15th: Marble painting
July 13th: Pipe cleaner jewelry
August 17th : Vegetable stamping
Arrive at 9:30 AM, done around 11:30 AM
Will figure out who is able to attend at May RAC meeting
Wood Lake Nature Center April Earth Day Event | Sunday, April 21 from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Family-friendly activity: Seed Bombs
Need to buy the supplies: clay, native/local wildflower mix, potting soil, water
Wrap the project in newspaper for people to take home
Motion to spend up to $100 on supplies: AB motioned, SE seconded, all in favor
2-3 RAC members will attend (EB, SC, SJ)
** At the May RAC meeting, discuss Fall activities before Parks & Rec’s program deadline of mid-June.

The Historical Society will also be holding authors’ events on April 20th from 1-3 PM and again in the Fall. Think about partnering on the Fall event.
Winter planter decorations
Pride Roundabout maintenance | June 15-16th at 6 AM
Public Works will provide paint rollers/etc, traffic cones, safety vests. We will need to get paint roller trays.
SE will take a look at the roundabout before May’s meeting to see what colors should be painted first.
Book Drive - will decorate boxes at the May meeting
Community Services Commission / Staff Update
Splash Pad being installed before July
Announcements
Mary Supple was contacted by Illusion Theater about how to pursue grant funding. They’re interested in doing weekly events at the Amphitheatre. They will connect with RAC.
