City Council/Liaisons Walter - City is recommending that the city council have
landlords mandatory 30 day notice
Will add that landlords cannot discriminate for Section 8
Compliance for section 8 may be a barrier
Walter will investigate the condition from Minneapolis
Public Safety Liaison report Joe Griffin is the new Deputy Chief. RPD helped with
the events at Annunciation.

teams

Chris recommended HRC statement on the School shooting
Look at other HRCs to see what they are doing.
Could speak to community support and condemning
gun violence
Consider HRC writing formal support of any legislation -
would need to confirm that it is in the purview of the
commission.
Note the city manager has already made a statement
Tyler will share Katies with Chris
HRC can then draft support statement
