II. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF THE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MEETING OF JULY 27, 2021.
M/Stratton, S/ Bruzek to approve the minutes.
Motion carried 3-0.
III. CERTIFY THE LIEUTENANT PROMOTION ELIGIBILITY ROSTER
M/Stratton, S/ Bruzek to certify the Lieutenant Promotion Eligibility Roster. Motion carried 3-0. Chief Dobesh provided overview of the process and Lieutenant Nelson assisted with reviewing and tabulating scores. He stated they did find a few errors while scoring. Vice President Bruzek asked if the errors altered the rankings. Chief Dobesh stated the rankings did not change.
Vice President Bruzek asked what the errors were.
Lieutenant Nelson stated some addition was done incorrectly in one of the sections but was caught and corrected.
President Stratton presented the list of candidates who participated in the process by rank.
IV. OTHER BUSINESS
Chief Dobesh stated the commission will hold another meeting regarding the firefighter eligibility list but Human Resources has been very busy. The department is hopeful to still acquire a list this year.
President Stratton thanked all firefighters for their dedication and service as they continue to service the community in a professional manner.
V. ADJOURNMENT
