II. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF THE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MEETING OF DECEMBER 17, 2019.
M/Bruzek, S/ Stratton to approve the minutes.
Motion carried 2-0.
III. ELECTION OF COMMISSION OFFICERS
M/Bruzek, S/Stratton to approve Mary Stratton as President of the Civil Service Commission. Motion carried 2-0. M/Stratton, S/Bruzek to approve Jeffrey Bruzek as Vice President of the Civil Service Commission. Motion carried 2-0. M/Stratton, S/Bruzek to approve Jackie Harris as Secretary of the Civil Service Commission. Motion carried 2-0.
IV. OTHER BUSINESS Chief Kewitsch discussed what the next four meetings will contain such as position for a Battalion Chief and Captain Promotional Process. He also shared Jesse Swenson, Human
Resources Manager, will be leaving the City at the end of February.
President Stratton expressed how happy she and Jeffrey are to be a part of this commission and the ability to work with and support the Richfield Fire Department. She also stated they
are always available if any questions or concerns should arise. Secretary Bruzek concurred. V.ADJOURNMENT
The Civil Service Commission Meeting was adjourned by unanimous consent at 8:31 a.m.
