Chase Bank Sculpture-Completed !!!
Chase Bank sculpture was installed, exact date unknown. Amy Markle to reach out to
Chase to get the name of the arLst and RAC will plan to add to the art brochure when
we next update it.
City lawyer Orienta?on for Commission Members -March 8th
The meeLng is in person at City Hall. Email was sent out to all RAC members. Staff will
resend email. There is also a meeLng on 3/22 at 6:30pm for commiTee chairs.
LiCle Library
LiTle library is inaccessible due to large snow piles made from plowing the parking lot.
Amy Markle will follow up to request clearing the path.
Community Services Commission Update
MeeLng was canceled due to weather.

Art show for High School Seniors
AnLcipate a hang in May. Karl will keep RAC posted regarding a possible
recepLon.
RAC Farmers Market Events (3)Dates set
Dates are 6/10, 7/15 and 8/12. All dates have been cleared with Bonnie.
CrossRoads Panorama event-1st weekend in September

Dogs Take the Stage -at dog park instead ?
PotenLal date of 10/14. Will check with Wei to create the event. June deadline
for fall brochure. Possible cra_ idea would be a paw print cra_. Will decide at
the April meeLng. Sponsors in the past were Wellhaven and PetSmart. Possible
future sponsors suggested were Adogo, the dog care facility on Penn Ave and
local Vet Clinics.
Electrical Box Wraps
Budgeted for one wrap this year. To be selected by RAC from photo contest
submissions.
LiCle Library- ongoing
Members will conLnue to check to ensure library remains stocked.
Art Displays- community center, city hall
New art at the community center. City post calling for submissions. SuggesLon
was made to adverLse at events and create a database of arLsts.
New ideas
Possible upcoming events: Unity in the Community, Juneteenth event, Richfield
Leadership Network partner with 8/19 event to celebrate Galaxy Foods Mural,
Ecofair sponsored by League of Women Voters at High School on 4/15. They have
a full slate so RAC will keep it in mind for next year.
RAC approved by unanimous vote to add as an event the Earth Day at Woodlake
nature center on 4/23. Event to include Buckthorn removal, tree planLng.
Possible ideas for RAC suggested were a scavenger hunt, nature drawing and/or
creaLng art with found objects. Example given was an arLst who works with
West Wood Hills Nature center.
Bike Park event
September is the tentaLve goal for the bike park compleLon.

Pizza Luce local arLst display - Stephanie K. follow up and discuss at April
meeLng.
Summer brochure includes Sat Fun events at the inclusive playground twice a
month from May-Sept. Events include story Lme, dance party, storybook hikes,
puppet shows. RAC ideas for involvement include chalk art, paper bag puppets or
finger puppets.
Roundabouts: Kristen at Public works wold be the contact. Ideas include
partnering with other groups to help with maintenance. Possible funding source
could be the Richfield FoundaLon. RAC paired with Spread the Sunshine Gang for
the Pride roundabout. Karin will reach out to Nikki to see if we can conLnue to
partner with regards to maintenance.
Staff Update
Parks and Rec looking for seasonal staff hires including playground leaders and
coordinators as well as pool staff.
Announcements
Richfield FoundaLon event on 5/11. RAC members invited to aTend.
