PUBLIC HEARINGS REGARDING THE APPEAL BY BRADLEY ITEM OWNER OF BRADLEY EXTERMINATING AT 6237 LYNDALE AVENUE, OF PUBLIC SAFETY’S DETERMINATION OF AN ILLEGAL SIGN AND AN INOPERABLE VEHICLE. C.L. NO. 38 Assistant City Attorney Heine summarized the appeal hearing process indicating the following: The City Prosecutor would present the City’s case regarding Bradley Exterminating and the basis of the charges filed regarding violations of Richfield City Ordinances. The appellant could present information related to the facts of the case, interpretation of the ordinances, and cross examine witnesses (if any). The City Council in their role as the Board of Appeals could affirm, deny, or modify in whole or part the determinations. Discussion followed regarding the issue of Mr. receipt of notifications regarding scheduling of the hearings, Martin Costello, City Prosecutor, presented a package of supporting documents for the record. Bradley owner of Bradley Exterminating at 6237 Lyndale Avenue, requested that the public hearings be postponed. Discussion followed regarding the administrative appeal process, legal representation, past postponements of the hearings, and the possibility of continuing this issue to a date certain. to Tuesday.
