The Village Council of the Village of Richfield does ordain as follows
.: SECTION 1. .
There is h®reby astal~7.ished. a Department of Streets and Parks, to be
administered and controlled by a Superintendent of Streets and Parks, sub•-
~ect to the control and direction of the V 311age Manager.
sECTIO~ z.
The Department sha11 be charged with the maintenance and repair of
all Vi].l.age streets and alleys, and all village parka and park-ways;
with the surfacing or resurfacing of streets when not dame by private
contract; with the beautification, maintenance and care of all past
pxo party; with the maintenance of all storm sewers; with the construct-
ion of storm sewers when not constructed by private contract and•with
such other activities as may be related or incidental to the foregoing.
s~CTION 3.
The Superintendent shall have supervision of all perso~xel and
custody of all property used and maintained for the purposes of such
department.
SECTION 4~.
This Ordinance sha11 be in effect from and after its publication.
