VILLAGE OF RICHFIELD ORDINANCE N0. 11.05 `~._.
AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE 3URNING OF RUBBISH AND
r COMBUSTIBLE AND FLAMABLE MATERIALS UNDER PROVIDII~'r A
PENALTY FOR VIOLATION THEREOF,
The Village Council of the Village of Richfield do ordain as follows:
SECTION 1.
No person, firm, ar corporation shall set or maintain any bonfire
or shall knowingly furnish the materials for any such fire or authorize
any such fire to b® set, kindled or maintained on or in any street, alley,
tat, land, or public or privatA grounds within the limits of the Village
of Richfield; provided, however, nothing in this ordinance shall prohibit
the burning of rubbish, paper or any combustible material when such material
is burned within a safely constructed burner or similar device so that the
burning particles will not blow around, and not within fifteen feat of ax~y
flamable materiaal., building, or structur®; except that such burning of
rubbish, paper or other combustible material between the hours of 6s00
o'clock A.M. and ]2100 o~clock noon on any weekday is hereby prohibited.
SECTION 2,
Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provision of this
ordinance shall upon conviction thereof before the municipal court of
the Village of Richfield, be punished by a fine of not to exceed one
hundred dollars ($100.00) or by imprisonment not to exceed (90) days.
SECTION ~.-
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its
publi cati oa.
