•AN ORDINANCE LICENSING .AND BtiGULATII~ THE SALE OF SOFT
DRINgS AND P~TIDING A PENALTY FOR fiH~ VIOLATION THnREOF.
The Village Council of the Village of Richfield do ordain ae fallows~
SECTION l -- The words "soft drinks" as used in this Ordinance shall in-
clude all liquors, liquids, or compounds commonly known as soft drinks to be
used for beverages, and not defined to be intoxicating liquors under Chapter
46, Lawa of Minnesota 1833.-34~, except save for non-intoxicating malt liquor
under Chapter 116, Laws of Minnesota., 1933.
SECTION 2 --- Application for such license shall be made to the Village
Clerk. Said application shall state the name and place of residence of the
applicant, the location at which said business 3a intended to be conducted,
and shall be accompanied by the fee provided herein.
The license fee shall be in the sum of ~5 per year, and shall expire on
the Slat day of December. The full license fes shall be charged for the whole
or a fraction of the year.
SECTION 3 --- Any such license may be revoked by the Village Council on
satisfactory proof that any law of the state of Minnesota, or any provision
in this Ordinance has been violated. In case of such revocation, no refund
of the license fee shall be made.
S~TION 4 -- Any person violating the provisions of this Ordinance shall
be guilty of a misdemeanor.
