The Village Council of the Villago of Richfield do ordain as fa~llows:
That the above entitled ordinance be amended to read ae follows:
1. No person in the Village of Richfield shall start a bonfire or eat
afire or cause to be set afire any woods, prairie grass or othor combustible
material, whether on hie property or not, without first securing a permit
thereof from the Chief of the Fire Department or an agent delegated by him
to issue such permits.
2. No person shall negligently permit any fire upon his own land to ea
danger any property, whether on his owe land or not, nor shall he permit
such fire to extend beyond the limit of his own property.
3. Any person violating any provision of this ordinance shall be guilty
of misdemeanor.
