Commission members: Ted Weidenbach (chair), Tim Carter, Gerry Charnitz, Paul Chillman,
Gary Ness, Ken Severson, Jeffrey Walz, Wes Dunser, Brynn Hausz, and Jack Wold

I. Call meeting to Order
Chair Weidenbach called the meeting to order at 7:02 pm
II. Approval of Agenda
Motion made by Severson to approve the agenda with the addition of D-Line discussion
item. s/Carter. Motion carried.
III. Approval of Previous Meeting Minutes
Motion made by Carter to approve the minutes, s/Walz. Motion carried.
IV. Updates
77th St Underpass
o Broz updated the Commission on the 77th St. Underpass Open House that
took place.
Other Commissions/Bike Advocates
o Liaison Musgrave gave an update of a current survey of commission
members.
o Liaison Hayford Oleary provided a planning commission update on the
approved Jaguar dealership, as well as an update about a proposed
redevelopment around 1400 E. 66th St.
o Broz updated the commission that the Councilmember liaison to the
commission is no longer Councilmember Howard, and is now
Councilmember Trautmann.
o Broz informed the commission that the arts commission has new members
and the idea of a new liaison.
V. Lyndale Avenue Reconstruction
Broz, Vlasaty, and a representative from Bolton and Menk, Tim Lamkin,
presented on the Lyndale Avenue Design options. The design options covered
were roundabouts, three-lane roadways, parking, bicycle facilities, and pedestrian
facilities.
VI. D-Line Rapid Bus Transit
Broz provided an update of D-Line bus stops at 70th Street.
Motion made by Chillman to support the 70th Street D-Line Stop and recommend the same
to the City Council, s/Dunser. Motion carried.
VII. Work Plan Review/Next Steps
2018 Bicycle Routes item will be discussed at a future meeting(s).

Motion made by Ness to adjourn meeting, s/Carter. Motion carried. Adjourned at 9:02 pm.
