Call meeting to Order Chair Weidenbach called the meeting to order at 7:03 pm II. Approval of Agenda Motion made by Severson to approve the agenda, s/Dunser. Motion carried. III. Approval of March 1, 2017 Meeting Minutes Motion made by Chillman to approve the minutes, s/Melendez. Motion carried. IV. Southdale Area Transportation Update, Mark Nolan – City of Edina Presentation highlighted over 18 redevelopment projects in the Southdale area along with a summary of the traffic study for the area. V. 66th St. Sweetscape, Joel Odens – Bolton & Menk Presentation overviewed the plantings for the 66th Street medians, boulevards and roundabouts. Planting and fencing plans in the Girard Ave to Oliver Ave (area where homes were removed) was also presented. VI. Pedestrian Planning  Discussion of the 69th St. Pilot Project survey results  Review of crash and speed data  Staff directed commissioners to further review the Pilot Project results and come prepared with a recommendation to the July Commission Meeting VII. Updates  Broz updated the Commission on the 66th St., MCES, mill and overlay, and concrete repair construction projects  Broz provided updates regarding the BCBS grant application and the construction of the three temporary crosswalks on Nicollet Ave.  Broz spoke about 32nd near Penn Avenue  Broz spoke about other city commissions and bike advocates in the community VIII. Work Plan Review/Next Steps The following updates were provided by staff:  D-Line Arterial Bus Rapid Transit – more to come in July  65th St. preliminary design  Lyndale Avenue considerations from 76th to 66th Streets IX. Upcoming events/meetings  Next scheduled Commission Meeting: July 12, 2017  Commission Recognition Event: June 13, 2017 ATTACHMENT #1 X.
