Call meeting to Order Chair Weidenbach called the meeting to order at 7:01 pm II. Approval of Agenda Motion made by Carter to approve the agenda, s/Sandahl. Motion carried. III. Approval of April 6, 2016 Meeting Minutes Motion made by Ness to approve the minutes, s/Charnitz. Motion carried. IV. 70th Street bikeway, Josh Bowe  Josh Bowe, Three Rivers Park District, and Kevin ???, Bolton & Menk, presented concepts for the 70th Street bikeway. They discussed connection options to off street trail at Diagonal Blvd and potential pavement striping options on 70th Street. They stated the schedule has construction in 2017, with bids in January. Possible open house/pubic meeting in July. V. Bicycle Routes in 2015 Mill and Overlay Area  Broz presented bike routes in 2015 mill and overlay area and discussed the bicycle master plan.  Transportation Commission will hold an open house on May 24 from 4:30-6:30 pm. VI. 66th Street Bus Detours  Broz discussed 66th Street bus detours and the MCES project with that includes bus detours. Also discussed a way to formalize detour routes for the 66th Street Reconstruction project. VII. Pedestrian Planning  Broz discussed pedestrian planning, safe speeds, and the 5 “E’s”. VIII. Work Plan Review/Next Steps  Chair Weidenbach discussed the work plan review. Asked about interest in outreach during July 4th celebrations.  Felgate would like to give overview of Smart City projects. IX. Updates  Petersen gave an update on James Avenue reconstruction and sidewalk survey.  Broz gave update on 77th Street Underpass project.  Hayford Oleary gave updates on Bike Advocates and Planning Commission.  Howard gave an update on Council items.  Felgate gave an update on emerald ash borer and talked about money Three Rivers Park District has available.
