Call meeting to Order Temporary Chair Sandahl called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm II. Approval of Agenda Motion made by Charnitz to approve the agenda, s/Ness. Motion carried. III. Approval of January 6, 2016 Meeting Minutes Motion made by Carter to approve the minutes, s/Ness. Motion carried. IV. Welcome New Commissioners  Commission members gave introductions around the table. V. New Bylaws  Broz discussed the new bylaws and that no action would be taken tonight.  Howard discussed youth membership. Consider adding youth appointments to the commission and consider if they would vote.  Sandahl states she was open to two youth members.  Ness asked about legal issues with voting youth.  Felgate stated Community Services Commission recommended a 1-year term.  Charnitz asked about whether youth need to live in city or just go to school in the city.  Ness suggested reaching out to boy scout troops.  Broz discussed data privacy notice and will follow-up with e-mail. VI. Pedestrian Planning  Pearson discussed goal setting and the pedestrian planning.  Broz presented the pedestrian plan. Discussed options and consideration for future sidewalk/pedestrian policy.  Walz asked about guidelines for multi-modal designs for signage and expressed a need for public education.  Broz asked commissioners to review sidewalk policy. VII. Updates  Staff gave updates to the Commission on 70th Street Bikeway; Portland bikeway gap study (60th St to 66th St); Bicycle access to MSP; MCES Project; and 77th St underpass (over/under recommendation)  Oleary and Felgate gave updates on other commissions/bike advocates.
