I. Call meeting to Order
M. Kirsch called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m.
II. Approval of Agenda
Motion made by Carter to approve the agenda, s/Charnitz. Motion carried.
III. Approval of March 5, 2014 Meeting Minutes
Motion made by Weidenbach to approve the minutes, s/Carter. Motion carried.
IV. Portland Avenue & 66th Street Reconstruction Projects

Discussion regarding intersection treatments
o Question regarding driveway impacts with medians

A: City will purchase permanent easements
Motion by Severson to recommend Concept 2 for Council approval, s/Ness. Passed
unanimously.
66th Street
Staff gave business owner meeting summary
Broz reviewed cycle tracks
Concept 2 vs 4 discussion
o Commission asked for version of 4 with cycle tracks next to walk
Pearson reviewed issues with crossing near Woodlake Condos
V. Bike Master Plan Implementation
Pearson reviewed plan to implement BMP infrastructure with City-wide Mill &
Overlay projects
VI. Metro Sewer Project Follow-up
Pearson reviewed Before/After Data for Curb Bump-outs
Not expected to be used again, likely to be removed with mill and overlay
VII. Updates
Xerxes Bridge is now closed over TH 62 for redeck project
Bike Advocates: Health & Wellness Expo reminder, Blue Cross promotional video
VIII. Adjournment
