Meeting Minutes

I. Call meeting to Order
M.Kirsch called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
II. Approval of Agenda
Motion made by Ness to approve the agenda, s/Ball. Motion carried.
III. Approval of Meeting Minutes
Motion made by Severson to approve June 5, 2013 meeting minutes, s/Ball. Motion
carried.
IV. Nice Ride Presentation
Anthony Desnick from Nice Ride Minnesota presented on operations and future growth
strategies and discussed potential for a Nice Ride presence in Richfield
V. County Road Reconstruction Projects
a. Planning Exercises and Open House Discussion
Jack Broz, Avenue Design Partners
VI. Updates
Pearson provided updates on:
• I-494 projects – Ramps and weekend closures
• Richfield Parkway
• East/West Bike Routes – West is delayed indefinitely and the east route will be
re-bid
Sean Hayford Oleary provided an update on the work that the Richfield Bike Advocates
have been doing.
VII. Upcoming evens/meeting(s)
• Next scheduled Commission meeting October 2, 2013
• County Road Reconstruction Public Open House – October 10, 2013
