RAC at the market – June wrap up Kevin Button maker & spin art Well attended $20+ in donations RAC at the market – July wrap up Kevin Tie dye Excellent turnout $30 profit from t-shirts $20+ in donations rec staff helped a lot 70+ items were dyed! RAC at the market – August Kevin Puff painting – black light / neon paints on shirts Sticker scenes Candy art Spin art Sculpture Wall at the Art Center Kevin Bikes have been prepped Welder will visit the site and give recommendations Penn Fest All September 15th, noon – 4 p.m. “Photo booth” stand? Richfield Arts Commission Meeting Minutes Respectfully Submitted, Peter Dysart, Secretary of the RAC Mini Mosaics? Painting the bike sculpture? Art-themed little free library? Many ideas discussed Ice Arena sculpture Kevin Kevin has talked with sculptor Ken Yackel about the potential for a “signature” sculpture for the outside of the building. Ice arena and city staff are interested in exploring the possibility. There’s also potential for an art circuit for winter and/or sports related art. RAC art circuit update Julie Schuller will be in the community center in July and August (open house on August 30th). Dan Mlynarek will be September and October. Eleanor McIntosh will be in November and December. Dave Carriger will be in January and February. Willie Falwell is at City Hall in June, July, & August. Deb Warrick will be in September, October, & November.Lisa Rudolph will be in December, January & February. Continue to recruit future showings. Adjourn The meeting was adjourned at 8:58 p.m.
