RAC at the market - June Kevin  Father’s Day crafts and cards for open house  Spin art – with Willie & Prince  Button maker is there already “It’s a button- maker, we can figure it out” - Kevin Kevin, Willie, Pete, Dan, & MK will be there RAC at the market – May wrap up Kevin  A lot of people!  Spin art very popular  Decorating pots (for Mother’s Day plants) also popular  $20+ in donations  Process for getting plants went well – thank you Gepp Gardens RAC at the market – July Kevin  July 13th  Tie-dye shirts, etc. ?  Painting the bike sculpture? Talk to other tie-dye artists about techniques/suggestions. Talk to vendor about shirt supply, Unity in the Community event Kevin  Kids needed to do spin art or color something to get their “stamp”  Over 120 kids doing activities  Could do linoleum block rubbings next year if we run out of other materials Sculpture Wall at the Art Center Kevin  Dan showed another idea which included bikes and a cityscape  Encourage community involvement through painting the sculpture at an open house  We will be able to make better decisions when we see the actual bikes Consult with people doing the installation about how to proceed. Richfield Arts Commission Meeting Minutes Respectfully Submitted, Peter Dysart, Secretary of the RAC RAC art circuit update  Mary Van Slooten is at the community center through June.  Julie Schuller will be in the community center in July and August. Dan Mlynarek will be September and October. Eleanor McIntosh will be in November and December.  Willie Falwell will be at City Hall in June, July, & August. Deb Warrick will be in September, October, & November. Lisa Rudolph will be in December, January & February. Continue to recruit future showings. Band shell update Pete  Pete updated the Arts Commission on the band shell’s potential for funding. July  Reminder - No July meeting Adjourn The meeting was adjourned at 8:17 p.m.
