A design for a sculpture garden? RAC at the market – October Kevin  Last one of the season  Spin art again very popular  Pottery lottery also successful  Bike sculpture painting is nearly complete – many community members participated  Pumpkin sand art was popular Find a time to clean up the arts center for the winter Richfield Foundation Wine Tasting event Kevin  Kevin attended  Talked with many members about adding art to the event – received positive responses  Kevin also applied for a grant from the foundation – decisions are pending Bike sculpture Kevin, MaryKaye  Consists of three separate pieces  Almost ready for installation – minor touch-ups needed  Welder received $750 – well below regular rate  Mobile with sun, star, and moon  Plaque will be needed  Thanks to MaryKaye for all the work she has done!  “Unveiling” at the first art open house next May Time arranged to finish painting. Teen Art Show Kevin  Event Monday, November 25th at 6:30 p.m.  Submissions coming in this week  Arts commission will present one award for $50 (in addition to the awards presented by the library)  Commission members may help hang the art next week Lisa, Dan, Alex, Jackie, and Kevin will judge on November 23rd Posters On Board mural  More time needed for ideas Richfield Arts Commission Meeting Minutes Respectfully Submitted, Peter Dysart, Secretary of the RAC 2014 events Kevin  Think of event ideas new or old  2nd Saturday’s at the market again for next year Bring ideas to January meeting Art in the community MaryKaye  Attic Artists (Avis Benson, Connie Kiethanhn, Carol Lowe, Sumitra Wanduragala and others) did a show at the community center last week  RAC received 15% of sales  The group would like to do it again Should we charge 15% or just a table fee? Adaptive activity MaryKaye  February 19th – 7-8:30 p.m. event at the community center Leads needed for inexpensive canvas for painting project RAC art circuit update  Eleanor McIntosh will be in November and December. Dave Carriger will be in January and February.  Deb Warrick is in City Hall in November. Lisa Rudolph will be in December, January & February.  Many new artists have expressed interest in showing with us. Continue to recruit future showings. Adjourn The meeting was adjourned at 8:59 p.m.
