These changes will include building and landscaping new patios on the outside of the building and making renovations inside to create a malt or coffee shop. Arts Commission members raised issues about the security of the Art Center due to the ease of breaking in by climbing over the wall and opening the door from the inside. MK will make other city staff aware of our security issue and try to get some sort of barrier built between the top of the wall and the cathedral ceiling. Dance There are 128 children registered for classes through the Recreation Department. Purposed new Bandshell in Veterans Park- MK will bring info about this to the next meeting. Election of Officers approved  Co chair (s) : Judy Goebel and Debra Caserotti  Secretary: Kevin Klos  The Arts Commission expects to lose some of its most active members nest year due to term limits imposed by City Council. We should investigate the City's requirements for limiting terms of membership and plan to recruit new members.  Phone/email/address information of commission members was collected- MK will adjust our membership list and bring this to the next meeting. Arts Center Judy Goebel & Ellen Stinger Selling artwork at the Art Center was discussed. We would like to rent space- tables etc. for a minimal fee to artists that they can use to sell their work during Farmers Market. This might happen every week or only certain weeks of the month. The artists renting space would be responsible for making their own sales, and it was proposed that there not be a commission taken on work sold because it would have to be on the honor system and would require quite a bit of calculation and documentation from the artists. MK will look into the requirements from the City regarding this. Also- we will need a time commitment from members of the Commission to make this happen- if we want to offer this service on a weekly basis. It would provide fund raising for us.
