• $134 left in budget we need to spend before the year
is over. We can use it for our last 2 events (Pizza &
Poetry and the Teen Art Show). $600.05 from Larry’s
donation will carry over to next year. We received $11
in donation from October Open House.
• Veterans Memorial nearly completed. Just missing the
granite. Will be finished by Memorial Day.
• Sign by Portland Avenue will be installed by year’s
end, Art Center will be listed on the sign.
• Art Center will be closed for the winter. While the
building is shut down, a wall will be installed to ease
theft concerns.
October Open

• Spin Art, the button maker and Pottery Lottery were
very popular.
• The 9:30-11:30 time works well for the volunteers.
• Willie still has a few things left in the Arts Center that
he can get out (He’ll figure it out with MK).
Willie and MK will
meet up so Willie

from Art Center.
Pizza & Poetry Claire

• Claire was in contact with the editor of the Sun
Current, and he published info on the event in the
latest Sun Current.
• Claire gave Fireside some flyers that they have been
handing out with pizzas. Fireside said they will have
some sort of special to go along with the event.
• The event will take place Thursday, November 15th at
8pm at Fireside Pizza.
• We have a left over gift card from the FB contests, so
we can use the extra one as a prize at the event.

Teen Art Show Kevin Klos • Volunteers for hanging: Pete, Willie, Jackie, (possibly)
Claire on Tuesday, November 13, anytime 2:30-5pm.
• We will get Dick Blick gift cards for prizes again like
last year. We’ll take $5 out of our money from Larry
and the rest of it will be: 1 gift card for $50, 4 gift cards
for $25 and we’ll pick one in each category (all age
groups).
• Ron, Ellen and Kevin will be judging the show. They
will coordinate timing.
• Debra made a motion for MK to buy the gift cards —
the motion passes.
• Kevin will let Lisa know to track all the art and notify
kids know winning Art will be displayed.
• Teen Art Show Opening is Monday, November 26 at
6:30pm at Augsburg Park Library.

voted to not have a December Meeting.
