• MK ran off several copies of our Richfield Art walking
tour map and they were made available at the July
open house
• In the next community brochure, our fall open house
dates will be listed as well as the November RAC
movie night featuring Monsters Inc.
• As of this meeting, our concessions’ profit is at $43.38.
• MK has ordered new RAC T-shirts for the group and
they will be available next Saturday.
• We have not heard back from the city lawyer about
waiver forms for the Richfield Art walking tour map.
• MK emailed Christine Costello (Community
Development Specialist) about whether the lights on
“The Family” sculpture work. Christine replied that they
do not and there is not money in the budget to fix
them. Additionally, the sculpture may be moved when
the new developments go up in the old Kmart property.
• We still have not heard anything about choosing art for
the new City Hall. MK will email Christine to find out
who to approach about city hall art

Concerts in the Park Judy

August 18th will be the “rain out” session. Judy, Ellen and Ron
will be volunteering for that make up date.

The main activities will be Spin Art, rubbings and pottery
lottery. Ellen will email Bob to see if he can come with his
button maker.

Ice Cream Social Judy

The Richfield Historical Society is having an Ice Cream Social
event next Saturday afternoon after our open house. Ruthanne
Clay wanted some members of our group to do demos during
the Ice Cream Social. Deborah, Judy, Ron, Willie and Ellen will
all attend and do demos. They will also hand out upcoming
class schedules that they are teaching, as well as hand out our
walking tour art maps.
