• MK printed out and has Teen Art Show flyers available
in the community center
• A new sign will be going up in Veterans Park and will
include the Art Center
• Tomorrow is our RAC Movie night and we will be
showing Monsters Inc at 7pm. Kevin posted info on our
social media sites

Deborah has all the addresses of the artists and will give them
to MK to send out. Judy will tweak the letter. Judy, Deborah
and MK will meet at the community center on Sunday
November 6th at 1pm to address and mail the envelopes. We
need to have permission forms back in time for Kevin to create
walking tour map. Needs to go to print by the end of the year,
otherwise we will lose the money to print them.

Teen Art Show Kevin Klos The teen art show opening/ceremony will be on Monday
November 21st at 6:30pm. Kevin, Willie and Ellen have
volunteered to help Lisa Howes hang the art work at the library
on Sunday November 13th at 10am. Judy, Ellen, Jackie and
Deborah will judge the teen art show on Saturday, November
19th at 11am. MK will take the donation from the Optimists and
buy Dick Blick gift cards. We will award them based on top
prize for each medium. We will also give away a “RAC award”
as we did last year. Kevin will send the Optimists a thank you
note at the VFW (where they have their meetings), and will
also invite them to the Teen Art Show in the card. Our display
case in the new City Hall will feature Teen Art Show winners in
January/February

RAC Donation Judy
Goebel
The man that is interested in giving us a large donation is also
interested in having a mural painted on his building (494 and
Cedar) that we should keep in mind at a future meeting. (Not
enough for a quorum tonight). We brainstormed some ideas on
what we could use the donation for; supplies for our Open
House events, secure storage for Art Center (maybe find
something off of Craigslist), hanging display system for Art
Center, build a fence/half wall in the area of Art Center that is
not as secure. Can we find out some prices for these items?

The tentative schedule for our display case at the new City Hall
for 2012 is; Teen Art (Jan-Feb), Wearable Art (2 waves, Mar-
Jun), “Immigrant Art” (Jul-Sep), (RHS student sculpture art
Oct-Dec)
