Champa
Nancy Rector was the featured Artist in the community center
for April. Her opening went well and she donated a painting to
Woodlake Nature Center Fowl Ball fundraiser to be sold in the
silent auction. Ron has artists booked for May and June, and is
open after that. Willie suggested having a show in July of his
students.

We were unsure of copyright violations from the last meeting.
MK was in contact with the city attorney and reported that we
needed Bob Teslow’s permission to use his photos of the
sculptures on the map, and then we were covered legally.
Deborah was in contact with a lawyer who suggested we get
permission from the sculpture artists and the owners of the
property the sculpture sits on as well. Bob came in and gave
us his permission. Deborah gave MK a legal form for the city
attorney to send out for permission. Kevin designed two
concepts for the guide. We voted on which concept to use
moving forward. Kevin will add/drop photos depending on
permission. Once we know how many permission slips come
back for the sculptures, we may include other city art (murals)
in as well.
MK will give the

pottery lottery. MK will bring shapes.
