MaryKaye reviewed the sales figures from our snack booth at the
Music in the Park series and we have officially made $46.67 profit.
We can proceed with the movie nights, as insurance has been
bought to show movies, although we are not able to show Disney
movies. Our three movie nights at the community center will be –
11/12, 2/4, 4/1. MaryKaye brought a list of film distributors, and we
can screen any films on the list. We will use Yellow Submarine as
the first film. We need to decide on the other films at future
meetings.
July Art Center Open

We had 3 different musicians that came and played outside of the
Arts Center. The activities we offered included: spin art, rubbings,
and murals. There were not as many children visiting, but traffic
was consistent. The murals were a big hit. We learned we should
not give kids black paint to use with the murals. Keep the murals
supervised. Maybe bring some deodorizers in the future due to the
bad paint smell.

Those who are offering classes will perform demos at the August
open house. Pete will book the musicians. Willie will bring spin art.
We can set up murals again. Each artist offering a future class
should bring in class info for signing up.

Teen Art Show Kevin Klos Kevin contacted Lisa Howes, the librarian in charge of the Teen
Art show. The reception/opening night will be Monday, December
13th. Submission dates have not been decided yet.
Pennfest Willie
Falwell
Willie will wear his Arts Commission t-shirt and have a pottery
wheel going on with demos outside of Vuitt’s Gallery during
Pennfest.
