hakespeare at the farmers market and in the park- Michelle
Michelle already has a Midsummer's Night Dream in rehearsal. Rehearsals are happening at the Christian
Park now.
She is negotiating with the Rec. dept - through Jim- for performance dates. She would like early Friday
evenings and after the Farmers Market on Sat. afternoons.
Lrt Center at Veteran's park- Jim T.
Construction started on inside 9-foot high, tongue and groove cedar wall.
2 sinks will be installed by May- one large laundry style tub and the other a smaller style.
Air conditioning will be installed next year before summer
A key will be made available for artist or group.
Classes will be organized through the Recreation dept.
A children's art program is already in place for this summer.

Classes being advertised through teachers
Classes for teens may need to move the classes to art center in future.

Nat. guard- rock climb wall, Air Force- win a car raffle proceeds go to sponsor a vet, Keith Ellison our State Representative will be there. Japanese will donate rock 10 ton, 5ft x 10
feet high- will be here for event. Pig roast equipment and people to supervise donated already.

Staffing of sale in morning and sales-15% commission (Ron has form)- Ellen and her students Music -Peter will ask a quartet
Publicity- Josh will contact Sun Current, City pages, star Tribune Signage- coordinate with Wood Lake staff for flyer

Chamber of Commerice needs a letter from our commission to state that we want to encourage business
to decorate for winter holidays and also the centennial.
Also we would like to have white lights on the trees around the sculpture at 66th and Lyndale to bring
attention to it. Travis will find out who owns the property the statue is on. Bob Tesslow volunteered to
write a letter and have Ron OK it.

Sloomington has received a $80,000 grant for production and install
could our group make a plan and submit it to Bloomington to do the mural and receive the moneys?
Need to find out if there is a State Funding for community art murals.
How do we apply for the grant Bloomington received?
