Approval of Minutes Flake moved, seconded by MacDonald, to approve the minutes of the July 2020 meeting. Approved, ayes all. Staff Reports/Discussion Items Recreation Services Recreation Services Director Markle reported on the following:  COVID: Masks are now required. Some programs have resumed with reduced numbers and outside. Still offering virtual programming and modified in-person, and self-guided programs.  Staff is still working Park Ambassador shifts.  Playground community builds at Madison and Washington Parks: 9/15 and 9/29  Hennepin County grant to keep kids active: soccer camp, Urban Wildland registrations, free mini-golf registrations, fishing class, sports equipment checkout program, and skates.  Arena Refrigeration Project is close to complete. Both ice sheets are in. Bathrooms and HVAC to be installed in September/October.  Wood Lake has been selected as a spotlighted hiking destination by Explore Minnesota (thanks to the Richfield Tourism Promotion Board).  Roosevelt Dog Park: Some changes to the City Code pertaining to the dog park had its first reading. Second reading in September. Then, the fence and other components can be constructed.
