Chair Johanson called the meeting to order at 7:03.

Huemiller provided the staff update, including…
•Two new staff people: Josh Benesh and Jeremy Johnson
•Currently hiring summer staff and a Recreation Manager
•Spring/Summer brochure recently mailed out
•Revamped Recreation Fee Assistance Program has begun for 2024. Open to Richfield residents with household income at 200% of
Federal Poverty Level or below. $50 credit per person to spend on registration fees.
•Public engagement is underway for the Wood Lake Building Project. Staff is working with HGA Architects with planning and is seeking
community input about how the building will be used. The goal is to engage equitably and gather input from as many community members
and interested parties as possible.

Election of Chair and Vice Chair/Appointment of Liaisons
Anderson moved, seconded by Johnson-Kreps, to nominate Johanson as Chair and Tompkins as Vice Chair. Approved unanimously.

Reappoint Patrick Bergin to a three-year term on the Friends of Wood Lake Board
The Community Services Commission appoints members to the Friends of Wood Lake (FOWL) Board of Directors.
Appointments are made throughout the year. Board members serve three-year terms and can be reappointed to
multiple terms. The applicant being considered for reappointment is Patrick Bergin.
