CALL TO ORDER/APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Chair Johanson called the regular CSC meeting to order at 7:02.
Anderson moved, seconded by Skoog, to approve the minutes of the regular September meeting. Approved, by consensus.
STAFF REPORTS
Recreation Services
Recreation Manager Murphy reported on the following:
• Work on the Winter/Spring Program Guide is underway
• Great Pumpkin Giveaway event was well-attended
• Winterizing facilities
•
Acting Recreation Director Weiby reported on the following:
• Wood Lake project is proceeding on schedule, with outside work in the final weeks, including the geothermal drilling, and interior work to
begin over the winter.
• Wood Lake’s Halloween event will be this weekend at Vets Park.
• Vets Park facilities (Arena, Pool, shelter, band shell) are being winterized with work wrapping up on the new dasher boards around rink two.
DISCUSSION ITEMS
Adams Hill Park Project Summary
Public Works staff Oddsson and Whipple summarized the work recently completed at Adams Hill Park, including dredging the pond and updating some of the drain and storm sewer infrastructure.
