Regular CSC Meeting Tuesday, August 19, 7:00 pm Richfield Municipal Center (Heredia Room) Regular CSC Meeting Tuesday, September 16, 7:00 pm Richfield Municipal Center (Heredia Room) ADJOURNMENT June 17, 2025 COMMUNITY SERVICES COMMISSION REGULAR MEETING Tuesday, June 17, 2025 Richfield Pool and Ice Arena (630-636 E 66th St) PRESENT CSC: Susie Luttenegger, David Vrieze Daniels, Tessa Johanson, Jim Reilly, Grace McCarthy, David Sperling, BJ Skoog, Hayley Tompkins, Jessica Johnson Kreps STAFF: Karl Huemiller (Recreation Director), John Evans (Analyst/Recording Secretary), Kris Weiby (Facilities Manager) ABSENT CSC: Husniyah Bradley, Kris Anderson COUNCIL: Rori Coleman-Woods CALL TO ORDER/APPROVAL OF MINUTES Chair Johanson called the regular CSC meeting to order at 7:00. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Motion was made and seconded to approve the minutes of the regular May meeting. Approved by consensus. STAFF REPORTS Richfield Pool Tour Weiby gave the group a tour of the Richfield Pool and the new splash pad. Recreation Services RS Director Huemiller reported on the following: -Wood Lake groundbreaking held on May 28. Electricity will be turned off to the old building this week. -Wood Lake staff is working out of the Community Center during the project. -Splash pad opens July 1. Contractor chosen for pool renovation work. -Arena improvements (flooring, fascia, soffit) are planned to begin by fall. -Grants were received to install solar arrays on the Ice Arena and the Public Works building.
