CALL TO ORDER/COMMENTS
Chair Johanson called the meeting to order at 7:04. Members introduced themselves.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Motion was made and seconded to approve the minutes of the regular February meeting. Approved by consensus.
STAFF REPORTS
Recreation Services
-Naturalist Rodgers presented information about the Urban Wildland Half Marathon & 5K
-Director Huemiller provided the staff report.
• Seasonal job openings
• Splash pad will be open this spring
• Wood Lake Building Project: tree removals begin March 24. Construction work begins in early June.
• Veterans Park: shade structure and irrigation being installed in front of band shell. Local Sales Tax work planning is underway for items
at Vets and the Arena
• Dog runs are being considered for the hockey rink boards with grass surfacing.
ACTION ITEMS
Friends of Wood Lake Board Reappointment
Motion and second to reappoint Gordon Hanson to the Friends of Wood Lake Board. Approved by consensus.
