CALL TO ORDER/APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Chair Johanson called the regular CSC meeting to order at 7:03.
Skoog moved, seconded by Sperling, to approve the minutes of the regular November meeting. Approved, by consensus.
STAFF REPORTS
Recreation Services
Recreation Director Huemiller reported on the following:
• Tax appointments are underway
• Spring/Summer brochure is in progress.
• Community Center has been busy with staffing, programs, and rentals.
• Arena solar panels are nearing completion.
• Pool project is moving fast, with heated tents.
• Wood Lake project: walls are being framed up. Tours are being conducted of the site.
• Staff is working on creating safe spaces from Immigration and Customs Enforcement, locking the Community Center after hours and working
to de-escalate situations.
• Huemiller presented an update on the Vets Park Project and a fly-through tour of the Wood Lake Building Project.
ACTION ITEMS
Friends of Wood Lake Board
Motion and approval by consensus to appoint Mackenzie Moen-VonAhnen to a three-year term on the Friends of Wood Lake Board. Approved
by consensus.

Elect Chair and Vice Chair / Appoint Liaisons
Every February, the CSC conducts an election of the Commission Chair and Vice Chair for the upcoming year, as
well as appointments of liaisons to other City groups.
DUTIES & TERMS OF THE OFFICERS
These positions become active immediately at the February meeting for a one-year term.
Chair/Vice-Chair Elections
The chair leads all regular and special meetings and is responsible for delivering the annual report to the City
Council. The vice-chair shall preside over all meetings of the Commission in the absence of the chairperson.

Liaisons are appointed to act as representatives of the CSC on various other commissions, boards, and task forces, and report back to the CSC on items discussed by these other groups.
