Thein called the meeting to order at 7:01 pm.

Staff Reports
Sustainability Specialist Lindholm reported:
Grant from USDA/Urban and Community Forestry to remove EAB infested boulevard trees and replant. SE Richfield census tracts identified for the project due to the Justice40 federal map
(Washington Park area). ~$500k for this project.
Organic Audits - went well, less than 1% contamination per load.
BuzzFest recap (Santwana) good turnout, lots of activities, walks, etc.
One opening on the Commission. Will have a youth commissioner, appointed Oct. 10, should be at next meeting.
Oct. 11 will be grand opening for bike park at Taft Park.

Burnside tabled his presentation on microplastics to October.

Updates to commission bylaws to align with how the group operates (quorums, role responsibilities)
