A RESOLUTION APPOINTING COUNCIL MEMBER SEAN HAYFORD OLEARY
AS MAYOR PRO TEMPORE FOR THE CITY OF RICHFIELD FOR 2026
WHEREAS, the Richfield City Charter, Section 2.06, requires the City Council to designate one of its
members to serve as Mayor Pro Tempore; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor Pro Tempore is authorized to perform the duties of the Mayor when the Mayor
is absent from the City or in the event of the Mayor’s disability, incapacity, or inability to serve; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to designate a Council Member to serve as Mayor Pro Tempore
for calendar year 2026.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota, that
Council Member Sean Hayford Oleary is hereby appointed as Mayor Pro Tempore for the City of
Richfield for calendar year 2026.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this appointment shall be effective January 1, 2026, through
December 31, 2026, unless otherwise amended or rescinded by action of the City Council.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota, this 13th day of January, 2026.
