RESOLUTION NO. 491
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF REAL PROPERTY
TO RICHFIELD STATE AGENCY IN ACCORDANCE WITH A
DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority in and for
the City of Richfield, Minnesota (the "Authority°') has properly
created and is administering its Redevelopment District (the
"District") pursuant to Minn. Stat. Chapter 469 in an effort to
encourage the development and redevelopment of certain designation
areas within the City of Richfield; and
WHEREAS, among the development activities proposed to be
assisted by the Authority in the District include the development
of a medical office facility; and
WHEREAS, the Authority has heretofore approved a Contract for
Private Redevelopment {"Contract") among the Authority and
Richfield State Agency, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the Contract calls for the sale of land, to wit" LOT
2, BLOCK 1, RICHFIELD BANK ADDITION ("Property"), in accordance
with the subject to the terms of the Contract; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Minnesota Statutes,
469.029, subd. 2, notice has been given of a public hearing to
consider such sale; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to such notice, a public hearing was held by
the Authority on December 20, 1993.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Richfield Housing and
Redevelopment Authority as follows:
1. The sale is in accordance with the redevelopment plan for the
District and is furtherance of such plan.
2. The sale of the Property in accordance with and subject to the
provisions of the Contract is hereby in all respects APPROVED.
3. The Chairperson and Executive Director are hereby directed to
take all actions and do all things reasonably necessary to
accomplish such sale in accordance with the subject to the
provisions of the Contract.
